OUR PROGRAMS

Our Courses are "Approved" by the New Hampshire Office of the State Fire Marshall to meet the requirements of RSA 153:27 also known as "Amelia's Law.We also offer CETP Courses for the Propane Gas Industry to meet the specific needs of the Propane Gas Industry.

OUR POLICIES

Attendance

Attendance is 100% is Mandatory.  We allow excused absences to be made up in the next scheduled Course Session.

Conduct

Any person(s) who act in an unprofessional manner will be removed from the program.   A letter satisfactory to the School Administrator detailing the reasons for the behavior will be required and approved by the Administration prior to re-entry.  No student will be allowed re-entry without full review of their academic history and past conduct.  GSTS reserves the right to refuse tuition refunds to anyone removed from the program.

Educational Standards

A student will be required to maintain a minimum of 80% scoring on all testing.  Students will be provided additional study exercises as required to improve any deficiencies.  All materials must be completed and received by the instructor as required in order to receive credit.   Students will be graded on test scores, class participation and attendance.   Classes can be made up in the next regularly scheduled course session.  No certificates will  be awarded with less than 100% attendance.  Upon completion your Certificate and Transcript is all that is required to become licensed provided you meet the requirements for "FIELD EXPERIENCE" as outlined in the New Hampshire Gas Regulations.   All course materials must be completed in full and all tuition and fees paid in full prior to receiving course certificate.

Class Size

We limit our class sizes to a maximum of 18 with a preferred level of 14 per class to provide a more attentive learning experience.

Severe Weather

If classes are cancelled due to storms, turn to WZID 95.7 fm radio to receive cancellation notices.  We will follow with most major cancellations as with the major colleges and tech schools.   If in doubt call the Director on the cell number provided in your school handbook.

Facility

We offer a clean, modernized facility utilizing up to date training presentation media, overhead projection, Powerpoint presentations, white board, SMARTBOARD Technology, Flat screen displays, visual text and demonstrations.  We use the latest in Training Curriculums and are continuosly adding new training demonstration equipment .
